That’s right - no images to upload into your hosting service or any of that malarkey. Just post the following code snippets between the <head> and </head> tags in the header.php file in your Wordpress Theme Edititor (under ‘Design’, right next to ‘Widgets’). It works for everything but explorer 7.0. The image is coded into all those letters, so adding them in is as easy as pie.

A classy vulture head I scanned up for culture vultures - good for general browsing sites, or just for picking dead meat off of carcasses.

A little bit eye - a little bit water drop - and actually taken originally from a picture of a small crystal ball…the result is a web 2.0 style favicon that can go with just about any modern future-gazing company.

You’d be surprised just how handy I’ve found having my little floating brain to be. While it looks a little small here - it’s great addition to any quiz, intelligent, or thinking person’s website.

You can run, but you can’t hide. Another catchall I made that is great for news sites, reviews, or general psychic shenaneggins.

A no-nonsense, straight up basic information site favicon I pulled together for a whole bunch of sites.

A good ‘default’ if you don’t know what else to use - this at least gets rid of the ugly browser default ones. I put this in straight away when I start a site, so I can see what I’m doing. It doesn’t show up as anything here or in the browser window (as it’s white on white) - but turns into a classy double ended white arrow on the grey browser tab.

A little bit anime, a little bit plain-cute…here’s an adorable girl’s face for you.

All is right with the world when your viewers see this little green check mark pop up in their browsers.

I created this by scanning in a US $100 bill (yes I had one once), so it’s Ben Franklin originally. Its good for any money or investment site - the details have been a little lost in the process, so I use it for whenever I need an old, wise looking, dead dude.

While picture favicons are pretty damn fun, it is in reinforcing your brand that they are the most use. Helping people remember your name is a key thing they can do. Using the initials of your site name is an obviously good choice, so I’ll gradually collect a few of these alphabet favicons here.
